Refundable Entrance Fee
Many residents have chosen to make a bequest of a percentage of the fee as part of their estate.
With a new program instituted by Ingleside, you may now choose to use a percentage of your refundable entrance during your lifetime to fund a charitable gift annuity, and enjoy income and tax benefits all while providing an immediate charitable gift to the Foundation.
A bequest of a percentage of your refundable entrance fee could be right for you if:
- You want to make a gift to Westminster Ingleside Foundation.
- You want the flexibility to change your mind.
- An immediate income charitable tax deduction for your gift is not important to you.
How it works
- You make WIF a beneficiary in your will, or a designated beneficiary of your retirement plan, life insurance policy, or other asset.
- WIF receives your gift when your estate is settled.
A gift with a percentage of your refundable entrance to create a charitable gift annuity could be right for you if:
- You want to generate income from a currently non-performing asset.
- You would like to make a gift to Westminster Ingleside Foundation.
How it works
- You decide on a percentage of your refundable entrance fee that you would like to use to create a charitable gift annuity.
- A contract is created between you and your community to release the present value of the cash amount you have chosen.
- Using the released amount, you make a gift to Westminster Ingleside Foundation to issue a charitable gift annuity.
